Question: Do you ever gift services to charities?
Answer:

Yes. We love to support charities in our communities. We are proud partners with Cleaning for a Reason, donating house cleaning services to women undergoing cancer treatment. It is an honour to help families during such a difficult time. We get many requests, and we can't contribute to everything. If you are organizing a fundraiser, and would like to submit a request, please contact us.

Question: Are your staff bonded?
Answer:

Yes. All staff are covered by a robust commercial liability insurance, which includes an employee blanket bond. We use Triton to conduct a thorough background screening and criminal records check.

Question: Do you do overnight visits for pets or live-in home sitting?
Answer:

No. Pet sitting and home check visits are available 365 days a year, from morning until evening. Overnights or live-in is not available. We may be able to recommend a company in your area that can meet those needs. We are happy to help. Please contact us!

Question: When are you open?
Answer:

House cleaning services, special cleaning, and our staff are available weekdays from 9am until 5pm. However, pet sitting and home checks visits are often booked for evenings, and they are scheduled 365 days a year. Email and voicemail are monitored on evenings and weekends for any emergencies relating to pet sitting and home checks. 

Question: Do you bring your own equipment?
Answer:

For one time cleaning we bring all the tools, products, and equipment needed for the job. This makes moving day easier for you!  For regular house cleaning services we use your preferred products. While we are able to offer suggestions, we respect the choices you make for your home. We are happy to work with environmentally safe cleaning products.

Question: Do you sub-contract?
Answer:

Not for our regular services. All our house cleaning, pet sitting, and home check services are performed by our insured and bonded staff. All staff graduate from our thorough training program, and are paid well for their work. Full time staff are also eligible for our Group Benefits with Green Shield Canada, providing health, dental, life, LTD, and critical illness insurance. We do partner with technicians to provide carpet cleaning, window washing, and other special cleaning services. We work with professionals with the specific tools, training, and experience in those fields.

Question: Are you insured?
Answer:

Yes. Each location holds a comprehensive commercial general liability policy with two million dollars of coverage per occurrence. Staff are also covered under the Workers Safety and Insurance Board, which protects you from claims should one of our staff become injured in your home.

Answer:

We are proudly Canadian, and our head office is in Ottawa. We have 4 locations in Ottawa, 1 in Etobicoke, and 1 in Milton. Click here to see contact information for each. Question: Do you offer gift certificates?
Answer:

Yes, you can gift packages of services, or pick a dollar value. Gift Certificates may be ordered online here using a secure platform, and emailed or printed. Your choice! 

Question: What payment methods to you accept?
Answer:

We accept cheques payable to Concierge Home Services, Visa, Mastercard, and email transfers.
