What payment methods to you accept?

We accept cheques payable to Concierge Home Services, Visa, Mastercard, and email transfers.

 

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, you can gift packages of services, or pick a dollar value. Gift Certificates may be ordered online here using a secure platform, and emailed or printed. Your choice!

Are you insured?

Yes. Each location holds a comprehensive commercial general liability policy with two million dollars of coverage per occurrence. Staff are also covered under the Workers Safety and Insurance Board, which protects you from claims should one of our staff become injured in your home.

 

Do you sub-contract?

No. All our house cleaning, pet sitting, and home check services are performed by our insured and bonded staff. All staff graduate from our thorough training program, and are paid well for their work. Full time staff are also eligible for our Group Benefits with Green Shield Canada, providing health, dental, life, LTD, and critical illness insurance. 

 

Do you bring your own equipment?

For one time cleaning we bring all the tools, products, and equipment needed for the job. This makes moving day easier for you!  For regular house cleaning services we use your preferred products. While we are able to offer suggestions, we respect the choices you make for your home. We are happy to work with environmentally safe cleaning products.

 

When are you open?

All house cleaning and carpet cleaning services are available on weekdays. Pet sitting and home checks are available 365 days a year, with a surcharge for statutory holidays. Window washing is available seasonly, weather permitting. Staff are available to respond to inquires and make bookings on weekdays during usual office hours. Email and voicemail are monitored on evenings and weekends for any emergencies relating to pet sitting and home checks.

 

Do you do overnight visits?
No. We do not offer live in home sitting or overnight service. Our pet sits and home checks are during the day, 365 days a year.

 

Are your staff bonded?

Yes. We use Triton to conduct a thorough background screening and criminal records check. All staff also graduate from our comprehensive training program, which covers cleaning skills and techniques, health and safety guidelines, accessibility standards for customer service, and our professional code of conduct. 

 

Do you ever gift services to charities? 

Yes. We support charities in our communities. Over the years, we have donated services to dozens of silent auctions and fundraisers. In 2016, we donated over $2000 to local charities such as the Food Bank, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and Dress for Success. We are proud to support many valuable organizations doing important work in our communities. Also, as partners in Cleaning for a Reason, we donate house cleaning services to women who are undergoing cancer treatment. It is an honour to help families during such a difficult time.
